Raffle Rules

•   EverGREEN Elimination

Grand Prize: up to $5,000
Ticket Cost: $25 each or 5 for $100

• Online: Available until Saturday, November 22, 2025 at 7:15 PM

How It Works:

🔹 Initial Drawing

• At 7:30 PM, we will draw 100 names from all tickets sold.
• These 100 semi-finalists will be:
  • Displayed on screens at the Holiday Ball
  • Announced on Facebook Live

!!!! Not in the 100 Names - You’re still In the Game!!!!

o Even if your name is not among the initial 100 selected, don’t give up hope — you’re still in the running!

o During the Final Five Stage, once five finalists are identified and one is eliminated, we will randomly draw one name from all remaining tickets (those not previously eliminated) to rejoin the finalists as the fifth member.

o This means every ticket still in the pool — whether or not it was part of the original 100 — has a second chance to win up to a  $5,000 Grand Prize.

o So Don’t think the you are out of it with the 100 initial draws — you might just be the comeback story of the night!

🔹 Elimination Rounds

• Starting at 7:45 PM, 10 names will be eliminated every 15 minutes until 10:00 PM:
• At 10:00 PM, we move into the Final-Five Stage

Final-Five Stage – Split or Play

1. Five names are randomly selected from the 10 remaining.
2. One of those five is immediately eliminated, leaving four.
3. One new name is drawn from all tickets (except the 4 tickets left on the board) bring the total back to 5 finalists.

Split or Play Decision Process

• The five finalists must then either:
  • Unanimously agree to split the  final prize which may be up to $5,000 evenly (up to $1,000 each), or
  • Continue the game, where one finalist is eliminated at random and another round begins.
• This process continues, round by round, until:
  • A unanimous split is agreed upon, or
  • One finalist remains, who wins the up to $5,000.

Attendance Rules

• Only finalists present at the Holiday Ball may vote to split or continue.
• Absent finalists do not vote and are bound by the decision of those present.
• If none of the five finalists are present, the raffle continues automatically until a single winner remains.

Prize Distribution

• Winners present will receive their checks that evening.
• Winners not present will receive checks by mail within 10 business days.
• Winners of $600 or more must complete a W-9 form before payment.

Additional Notes:

• You do not need to be present to win.
• All ticket sales are final.
• All proceeds benefit Mason-Deerfield Rotary's service initiatives.
• The EverGREEN Committee reserves final authority on rules, procedures, and decisions.

Public Disclosure Notice

By purchasing a ticket, you acknowledge and agree that if your ticket is selected during the raffle, your name may be publicly displayed:

• On screens throughout the event venue, and
• Broadcast live on our club’s website and/or social media platforms as part of the event coverage.

This is part of the transparency and excitement of the drawing process.

1. Eligibility
   Participants must be 18 years of age or older to purchase tickets and win. All sales are final.
    
2. How to Enter
   Tickets must be purchased through the official event platform, GiveSmart, during the designated raffle period at the event. No other forms of entry are accepted.
    
3. Ticket Pricing
   Ticket pricing and available bundles will be displayed on the GiveSmart site. There is no limit to the number of tickets a participant may purchase.
    
4. Winner Selection
   A single winning ticket will be randomly drawn at the conclusion of the event. The drawing will be conducted fairly and transparently.
    
5. Prize Distribution
   The winner will receive 50% of the total funds raised through 50/50 raffle ticket sales. The remaining 50% will directly support the initiatives of the Rotary Club of Mason Deerfield, including education, basic needs, and mother & child well-being.
    
6. Winner Notification
   The winner will be announced at the event and contacted via the information provided through GiveSmart. If the winner is not present, arrangements will be made to deliver the prize.
    
7. Claiming the Prize
   The winner must claim their prize within 30 days of notification. Valid identification may be required. Unclaimed prizes will be donated back to the Rotary Club's charitable initiatives.
    
8. Tax Information
   The prize may be subject to IRS and state reporting and withholding requirements. Please consult a tax advisor for any questions related to winnings.

   Participants must be 21 years of age or older to enter. Winner must reside locally; shipping or delivery outside the local area is not available. All sales are final.
    
2. How to Enter
   Raffle tickets must be purchased through the official GiveSmart platform during the raffle period. No other methods of entry are accepted.
    
3. Prize Package
   The raffle winner will receive a Build Your Bar bundle, including a variety of spirits, wines, mixers, and bar tools. Items may vary and are non-exchangeable and non-refundable.
    
4. Winner Selection
   A single winner will be selected at random at the conclusion of the Holiday Ball. The drawing will be conducted fairly and transparently.
    
5. Winner Need Not Be Present
   The winner does not need to be present at the time of the drawing. They will be contacted using the information provided during ticket purchase on GiveSmart.
    
6. Prize Pick-Up
   The prize must be picked up locally. Delivery or shipping is not available. Instructions for pick-up will be provided to the winner upon notification. Valid photo ID showing proof of age and residency may be required upon pick-up.
    
7. Proceeds
   All proceeds benefit the charitable programs and community initiatives of the Rotary Club of Mason Deerfield.
